      Incercarea disperata de a gasi un subiect demn de postat, a esuat..."Thoughts don't come went you need them".Asa ca mi-am aprins o tigara, trecand pe langa tv am tras cu ochiul la cateva headlines-uri ..."Ne pregatim sa sarbatorim 4 iulie,nu in America, ci aici la Bucuresti,ne anunta Ponta, Egiptul in punctul de a porni un razboi civil,Nelson Mandela in stare critica."Pana aici nimic ce ar putea sa ma ajute...
 
   Am ezitat pret de cateva minute daca sa reimprospatez lista de bloguri cu haine vintage, lucru care a mai fost postat si de alte site-uri sau publicatii de fashion dar m-am gandit "what the hell?", in ultimul timp chiar am facut rasfoit pagini intregi cu hainute diafane,am deschis cufere pline cu minunatii, am trecut in revista pantofi , rochite retro, sacouri si accesorii unicat la preturi incredibil de mici si as putea sa le impartasesc aici. Este imposibil sa nu te uite Dumnezeu in fata monitorului cand ti se dezvaluie o astfel de lume :)

   Am facut un  research si o triere si  iata cateva bloguri romanesti de unde iti poti achizitiona produse vintage. Stocul este reinnoit in permanenta .Sigur vei gasi ceva pe gustul tau.
Spor la cumparaturi!

Pana la solstitiu de vara

The fact is that " Nostalgia was better in the old days " but then again today it was with no fuss, all nice and simple. Si niste palpitatii de neexplicat acum inainte de culcare.Oare de ce, pentru ca nu cunosc emotie ce a putut starni aceste senzatii inutile..

     Le descarci din telemobil cu 1/2 de an inainte, le folduiesi sub titlul "2011 De bun venit" (inspiartional), le lasi sa zaca pana pocnesc idei in cap, daca vezi ca nu pocneste ca-i prea cruda crusta, le arunci asa cum sunt pe blog. 

    Nu va spun locatia ca o sa va imbulziti toti ca oile la iarba fina si bogata..si asa sunt destui care sustineti ca-i deja rezervatie naturala.

    La vara, in fata sticlelor o sa-mi fie pus si cortul :)

Candva, in final de 2007, pe cand era un dezmat total in mintile noastre si n-aveam ganduri sa gasim linistea si pacea, ne-am lovit de :

Am aflat mai tarziu ca i se spune Neko (japoneza inseamna "pisica"). Si ne-a urmarit...da ce ne-a mai urmarit! Am detest acest obiect lasand oarecum, usor, usor sa ne intre in suflete, in case, sa ne dorim achizionarea personajului. Si-ntr-o seara ce sa vezi...ne-au transformat-o si in autocolant decorativ - Mini Kiki pisica. Tot ce ne-a ramas de facut...a fost sa o includem la categoria "treburi LBD cu forta" :)))

Cumpara o cutie de ce dimensiune si culoare doresti, o panglica sa se asorteze, aseaza cadoul cu grija in cutiuta si .....voila! in mai putin de 5 minute reusesti sa surprinzi! Noi, fetele/femeile, ne topim dupa ambalaje la prima vedere :) restul e doar pretentie si high expectations :p

O relaxare individuala, solitara, good and wild  little fashion, mic umor englezesc (uhhhhh, ce de fiori :)), o cana cu savoare de vanilie si caramel, fara tigari, doar in ciocolata... pe urma shut down laptop, pijamale, ritualul infrumusetarii, o carte buna si nani. Starting a good and lovely morning...ohhh, and i forgot... light sleeping pills and some laxative ca doar vrem sa avem spor si sa dam frau liber creativitatii all day long (traiasca Stridentele!)
Constatare : de anul trecut, din toamna, se sufera de depresie. Stau si ma intreb cand oare nu am suferit de depresie?? Da ce ne mai place si ne gadila sufletul! Ce, n-am zis noi ca vrem sa ne curga Daria prin vene?
And it's happening! Oh, sweet Jesus, oh Lord (won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz..or a night on the town?)

Behind the Closed Doors of Mental Asylums

                                        Buffalo State Hospital, New York

Christopher Payne spent many years touring abandoned asylums across the United States to uncover the dark histories that lied within their decrepitating walls and gates. These facilities set up in rural areas, far away from the pressures of everyday life were mostly self-sufficient communities, with just about anything you can imagine, from a beauty salon to a bakery to a bowling alley – all run by the patients. These pictures are a brief glimpse of a profound and touching research which led to a highly acclaimed book called “Asylum : Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals”.

* Christopher Payne - Asylum was chosen by the editors at Amazon as one of the Best 100 Books of 2009, and #2 in Arts and Photography.

     Chris Payne (b. 1968), a photographer based in New York City, specializes in the documentation of America’s vanishing architecture and industrial landscape. His first book, New York’s Forgotten Substations: The Power Behind the Subway (Princeton Architectural Press, 2002), offered dramatic, rare views of the behemoth machines that are hidden behind modest facades in New York City. His new book, Asylum: Inside the Closed World of State Mental Hospitals (MIT Press, 2009), which includes an essay by the renowned neurologist Oliver Sacks, is the result of a six-year exploration of America’s vast and largely abandoned state mental institutions.

    Trained as an architect, Payne is a graduate of Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania. His interest in historic buildings and industrial architecture began shortly after college, when he documented cast iron bridges, grain elevators, and power plants for the Historic American Engineering Record of the National Park Service, and, later, produced measured drawings for New York University’s excavations at Aphrodisias, a Greco-Roman city in Turkey. He has been awarded grants by the Graham Foundation, the New York State Council on the Arts, and the New York Foundation for the Arts.
